This project is a full renovation of a detached house in Tokyo.
The design redefines the relationship between existing spaces.
It introduces a clearer and more continuous living environment.
Instead of only updating finishes,
the spatial structure itself was reorganized
to improve openness and functionality.
The original layout consisted of separated rooms.
These were reconfigured into a more fluid connection
between living, dining, and kitchen areas.
By reducing partitions,
the central space becomes brighter and more open.
Natural light can now reach deeper into the interior.
The kitchen was transformed into an island.
It is no longer just a workspace,
but a central place for daily life.
Cooking, dining, and interaction
are integrated into one continuous space.
Materials and details were carefully balanced.
Warmth and clarity coexist in a restrained expression.
Through this renovation,
the house becomes more than a collection of rooms.
It is redefined as a unified living environment—
where light, movement, and everyday life are connected.
本計画は、東京都目白に位置する戸建住宅の全面改修である。
既存空間の関係性を見直し、
より明確で連続性のある住環境を構築した。
単なる仕上げの更新ではなく、
空間構成そのものを再編成することで、
開放性と機能性の向上を図っている。
従来は分節されていた間取りを整理し、
リビング・ダイニング・キッチンを
緩やかにつなげた構成とした。
間仕切りを減らすことで、
中心となる空間はより明るく、広がりを持つ。
自然光が奥まで届く環境へと更新されている。
キッチンはアイランド型へ変更した。
作業場から生活の中心となる場へ再構成している。
調理・食事・コミュニケーションが
一体となる空間を形成している。
素材とディテールは、
温かみと明快さのバランスを重視した。
本改修により、
住宅は単なる部屋の集合ではなく、
光・動線・生活がつながる
一体的な住空間へと再構築されている。
